TAP Response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Threat

First and foremost, we hope that you and the ones you love are safe and healthy amidst these challenging times. Following Governor Charlie Baker’s guidance in Massachusetts about the importance of social distancing, The Transformative Action Project is suspending all of our workshops through April 2020. Since the situation is fluid and changes day by day we will keep you and our already established partners abreast of when our direct service workshops become available again.

READ OUR MAY 26, 2020 LETTER ABOUT REMOTE SERVICES THAT ARE AVAILABLE.

In the interim and in response to this time of heightened anxiety and isolation due to the COVID-19 health crisis, we will use our web presence to provide in-home activities, both creative and mindful, to practice with your family or on your own, including several free online community meditation events.

Upcoming Poetry & Art Workshops with L’Merchie Frazier

Women with histories of incest and sexual abuse attended a recent workshop with TAP artist L’Merchie Frazier in January 2019 at The Women’s Center in partnership with TAP. Journeying in a safe space together, a small group of participants used poetry and collage to explore their experiences, and express their best selves.

TAP will be offering three additional workshops in the coming months. For more information, contact tap@violencetransformed.org.
